You previously recommended the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 with the 12.3-inch screen. Please confirm that this remains your recommendation after reviewing the photographs.

The iDrive controller, PDC/parking sensors, the factory BMW menu—Vehicle Settings—and all other factory vehicle functions are fully operational.

However, the “previous track” and “next track” buttons on the steering wheel do not work; the functions of the other buttons are not affected.

3. Digital instrument cluster

Please confirm the exact digital instrument cluster/ersion I should order and that it is fully compatible with my particular BMW.

A used digital cluster was previously tested in this vehicle, but the correct Service History/maintenance information was not transferred.

If I purchase your brand-new digital instrument cluster, will the vehicle’s correct service/maintenance information be displayed and operate normally after installation?

Please also confirm whether installation requires coding, programming, VIN writing, mileage synchronisation or any other configuration.

–To install our digital gauges, you’ll need to manually enter service and maintenance information.

As for other information, you won’t know whether to enter it until you’re actually installing the gauges, since it varies by vehicle model.

4.Complete installation package

Please confirm that both products include installation instructions and that the shipment will contain everything required for their complete installation and operation in my particular vehicle, including all necessary cables, wiring harnesses, connectors, adapters, modules, interfaces, brackets, antennas, microphones and any other required accessories.

If anything whatsoever must be purchased separately, however small, please identify it now so that it can be ordered and shipped together with the two products.

This is particularly important because the equipment will be shipped from China to Colombia. Discovering during installation that even a small component is missing would make obtaining it separately difficult, time-consuming and disproportionately expensive due to international freight.

–We will provide all the cables, mounts, and antennas needed for installation.

As for the microphone, it depends on your needs. If you want an external microphone, we’ll provide one; if you don’t specify, we’ll use the built-in microphone by default.

5. Coding, software and future technical support

Please confirm whether either product requires any additional coding, programming, activation, licence, software, module or specialised tool not supplied with the equipment, and exactly what my BMW technician will require.

–The products we ship will be updated with the latest software, and we will send you any future software updates.

6. Final technical check

Please advise whether there is anything else you recommend checking, photographing, measuring or confirming on the vehicle before I place the order.

–We can see that your original screen is displaying abnormally; it appears to be defective. Replacing it with one of our Android screens should restore normal display.

8.Warranty Policy (1-Year Warranty):

For quality issues within 1 month, we will accept returns or exchanges, and we will cover all round-trip shipping costs.

For quality issues after 1 month but within 1 year, the customer is responsible for the shipping cost to send the item back to us, and we will cover the shipping cost to return the repaired item to the customer.

For quality issues after 1 year, the customer is responsible for all round-trip shipping costs. The repair fee is estimated at $25, depending on the specific situation, and the shipping cost to return the item to the customer from our end is $55.

This also applies to Colombia.

In the case of a return, we will issue a refund immediately after we receive the product and verify that it is in good condition.
