Some customers who purchased the UGODE BMW EVO Android display screen found that after installation, even with the car engine off and doors closed, the screen remained lit and could not be turned off. This issue is caused by a CAN protocol malfunction, requiring checks on the fiber optic cable and whether the CAN protocol selection in the Android screen’s factory mode is correct.
1.If your vehicle has an optical fiber connection, when installing the Android screen, you need to switch the optical fiber to the male connector of the Android cable. Click to view details.
2.Enter Android factory mode and verify that the CAN protocol selection is correct.

Note: For car with EVO system
If the OEM System theme is ID6, choose:”EVO_ID6_X1 or EVO_ID6_5S”;
If the OEM System theme is ID5, choose:”EVO_ID5_X1 or EVO_ID5_5S”
Exception: some cars although with ID5 theme,but “CAN Protocol” need to choose:EVO_ID6_X1 or EVO_ID6_5S“; also some cars although with ID6 theme,but “CAN Protocol” need to choose: “EVO_ID5_X1 or EVO_ID5_5S”, It’s a rare case(Please try all “car protocol” options until the issues is fixed.)
